In our ever evolving technological world, the advent of GPS has made a remarkable contribution to society. Competent, intelligent and educated people, appreciate the value and sense of confidence when being directed to their destinations. In this context, we can understand the timeless instruction from our sages, that one should make a conscience effort to have a moral, spiritual, and personal guide. This is someone capable to help navigate through the countless forks in the road of life, and inform which paths are safe for travel and which ones are off limits. At times we need to recalculate, and need assistance in Getting our Priorities Straight (GPS). We need someone who can remind us how to work at living instead of living at work. Life is full of unexpected twists and turns – some surprisingly pleasurable and others exceedingly challenging. When deciding our course of action, even if it is the road less traveled, having a wise confidant can make all the difference.
